The improvisation live performance, Evolutionklang by Denim Szram and Jan Longerich, is an invitation to a conceptual and ruminant sound journey form the origins of life to the future of our species, shaped by technological progress.
Gentle as a breeze, we’re diving down into the depth of the archaic sea, harkening to the chants of wales, to the spherical silence. Slowly, life ascends from water, spreading out on the brumous shores, to form a dense vegetation of sound. Then cold metal slices the organic structures. An abstract, high-tech civilization conquers the soundscape, prevails with its raw, artificial tones and, at times, with unsettling noise.
