An audio-visual installation with the aim to create a symbiosis of sounds and colours. With the help of twelve RGB-LEDs and a quadraphonic sound system, the user is able to experience the synesthetic perception of acoustic and visual stimulation using the example of various colours. Three different quadraphonic compositions synchronized with light choreography’s make the installation to an immersive experience. Hear colours and immerse.
This installation was an collaborative art project of the CiaoKakao artist collective. Denim Szram, Lukas Troentle, Felix Deufel and Dominik Vogel. Beside organisation and brainstorming my main work was the composition of the red soundscape and arrangement of the red light choreography.
Beside of my personal art works I am part of the previously mentioned artist collective named CiaoKakao, which was formed 2010 at the university of applied science in Darmstadt. The members come form the field of interactive media design and sound and mainly focus on audio-visual and interactive installation art.
