„Alienature“ is an audiovisual installation with the aim to point out the contrast between technology and nature. The technical representation of trees consisting of twisted cables and cocoon-like balls are brought visually to life with music and thereby create a unique symbiosis. This form of presentation is a testimony of the increasing technisation of our society and the associated alienation of humans and urban life from nature.

This installation was made by the artist collective CiaoKakao. My main work on this project was the development and design of the trees as well as the conceptual work. Furthermore I was responsible for organisation of exhibitions and maintaining the functionality.
