“The morning line” is an experimental project by matthew ritchie designed with architects aranda\lasch and arup advanced geometry unit, commissioned by thyssen-bornemisza art contemporary, Which explores the interdisciplinary interplays between art, architecture, mathematics, cosmology, music, and science. The Sound Pavilion consists of 46 loudspeakers and 12 subwoofers which designed by Tony Myatt of the Music Research Centre of York University. It is especially suited for live, open-air performances. The Morning Line has travelled from Seville, Spain to Istanbul, Turkey to Vienna, Austria, constantly adapting its form to its new site. It is currently in the permanent collection of the ZKM in Karlsruhe Germany.

My electroacoustic composition “Cholokrak” was presented on “the morning line” skulpture at ZKM Karlsruhe.
